Sooshine Border Collies

Today was a beautifully sunny warm Autumn day. Barrie & Kay went over to Midland Counties at Walesey to track , so I went along to "puppy watch" Cesan. 

We took the two dogs for a walk in a nearby wood before checking in at the base. Cesan was intrigued by all the new sights and smells. Back at the base he met up again with another young puppy friend and got a second walk in the woods before Kay went off to track.

I had been thinking that his ears and legs were the only thing growing at present, and that the only thing NOT growing was his coat, but after looking at these he does seem to be coming on better than I had given the poor lad credit for ! 

On arriving back home in the afternoon, all the dogs went out on the nearby field and Roy (as usual) found a nice fresh , foul-smelling fox poo pile to roll in,  this time Cesan decided he should be christened in fox poo and joined him !   The two were in disgrace and had to be bathed when back home. Cesan does not exactly look too sorry does here does he?
